Connecting Colorado’s Jewish Teens

Calling all Experiential Jewish Educators in the Greater Denver Area!

We’re excited to announce that M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education is coming to Denver! is an international training and research institute dedicated to advancing experiential Jewish education by infusing it with rigor, intentionality and purpose, and by investing in the growth of the field and the retention of its educators.

Combining theory and practice, will bring together some of the most advanced approaches to help you professionalize your practice and deepen & broaden your impact.

You’re invited to join us for one or both days to sharpen your skills and add to your educator’s toolkit!

Day One:

The Foundations of Experiential Jewish Education
We know that we can control what we teach – but can we ever control what people learn? Experiential Jewish Education is based upon learner-centered education, and on the other hand is directed by the visions of Jewish communal institutions and educators.  Learn how to balance the approaches of guided vs. self-discovered education to develop deeply intentional and empowered learning opportunities.

Imagineering: The Art and Science of Out of the Box Thinking

What if?  These two words have the power to transform our capacity to think limitlessly and boundlessly.  What if we had the tools to think outside the box…to innovate…to transform space and environments?  What if we could control our ability to think creatively? And what if we could re-imagine the scope of our work? Learn how to unshackle your creative self and surface extraordinarily innovate possibilities.

Day Two:

What makes experiential Jewish education uniquely Jewish? This convening introduces participants to central frameworks in experiential Jewish education and demonstrates how emphasizing Jewish values advances learner-centered education. Utilizing group discussion and peer learning, the convening places reflective practice at its center, enabling participants to focus on developing a personal and shared vision for their work.
